Parish Mission - St. John Bosco Parish

* Parish Mission “Just Add Water” - St. John Bosco Parish, 1202 Avenue O South, Saskatoon will host a Parish Mission led by Christy Dupuis Friday, Jan. 12 (registration at 6:30 p.m., opening prayer at 7  p.m.) and Saturday, Jan. 13 (registration 9:30 a.m., opening 10 a.m., closing 3 p.m.), Cost is $20 per adult, $5 per child (2 and under are free) or $50 per family (includes lunch on Saturday.) Childcare is available at the school. Holy Yoga is a Christ-centred experiential time of worship using minds, bodies, and spirits to relax and de-stress, offering an opportunity for participants to authentically connect to God through God’s word, worship and wellness. Holy Yoga classes resume at the Cathedral of the Holy Family, 123 Nelson Road, Saskatoon, starting Jan. 8 with Monday classes at 7:00 pm, Jan. 9 with Tuesday classes at 9:30 am, Jan. 11 with a new Thursday lunch hour class 12:10 pm to 12:50 pm and a Thursday evening class at 6:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to the Marian Movement of Priests Cenacle - all are invited to this Cenacle Holy Hour, which consists of adoration, the rosary, benediction, hymns and various prayers, 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018 at St. Michael's Catholic parish #18-33rd St. E., Saskatoon. TRANSITIONS - Have you gone through the painful experience of divorce and/or separation?  Do you feel alone, discouraged or hopeless? We can help! Beginning Jan. 9, 2018 the Diocese of Saskatoon is offering an eleven-week program that will support you as you heal and rebuild your life. Transitions meets Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the Catholic Pastoral Centre (second floor of the Cathedral of the Holy Family, 123 Nelson Road, Saskatoon). The evenings are led by those who have already journeyed through what you are going through and have found some healing.  It is their wish that they pass on their experience, strength and hope of getting through the pain of divorce. Contemplative Mass

Contemplative Mass led by Fr. Kevin McGee Friday, January 5th at 7 p.m. at St. Augustine Church, 602 Boychuk Dr.The rhythm of the Contemplative Mass is a gentle , steady flow, marked by 20 minutes of silence after Communion. It is designated to allow space for reflection and recognition of the intimate presence of Christ who comes to us through scripture and the Eucharist. Silence within this form of worship can feel uncomfortable or awkward, especially when experienced for the first time. We encourage you to relax and rest in the abiding presence of God.
