Dying Healed - The diocesan Hospital Chaplaincy office is hosting a Dying Healed workshop from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 7 at the Bishop Klein Room of the Cathedral of the Holy Family, 123 Nelson Road, Saskatoon. Cost is $15 (includes lunch). To register please contact Jacqueline Saretsky at hospitalchaplaincy [at] rcdos.ca or (306) 659-5839. Dying Healed teaches ways to experience human dignity through sincere outreach, and explores concepts related to coping with suffering, end of life issues, and the power of presence. Explore ways to reach another person and show compassion and love, especially to someone suffering with a terminal illness or coping with a physical or mental health condition in a health care facility. The beauty of this program is that it is not complicated and it doesn't require advanced degrees. You have the ability to make an impact, just by being who you are and giving of your time to those most in need. If we don't reach out to the suffering, who will?
